A DAY TO REMEMBER
Can a day become more prominent than this one?. a big "NO". In fact, there was not a
cake sweeter than this one. There was not a birthday tune better heard than this one. A day
definitely to be remembered by all of our ECE family for the rest of our lives. It was the day
when we all gathered for our beloved fellow friend's birthday celebration.
"Devathaiyin vamsam neeyo? venilavin amsam neeyo?" WITHOUT A QUESTION..
"YES!. SHE IS". It was Jeevithavalli's birthday celebration for one final time in GCE.

The celebration began right after the afternoon session was over. Our team made no
mistake in doing the formalities for almost all staff were present including the head of the
department, Dr.R.S.D.Wahida Banu and Associate Prof. Mrs.M.Shanthi.

Not long ago, considering the physical difficulties faced so far, a Wheel chair was
recently presented to Miss.Jeevithavalli on behalf of final year student friends. It is now a
relief for both Jeevitha and ourselves for the pain is no longer seen in her.

The celebration quickly went to its core with a birthday
song when the burning candles were blown-off followed
by cake distribution. She was very particular in
distributing the cakes, making sure everyone there
taking one piece at least from her very own hands.
Meanwhile, the two songbirds of our class, Deepa and
Divya gave a special song which was another highlight
of the day. The celebration was filled with happiness that still hits our hearts. It came to an end
with a vote of thanks by Mr.Umar on behalf of final year students.

Celebrations are often recorded by means of photographs and our team planned for
a group photo at once the celebration programme came to an end. All the final year students
posed for the photograph in front of the ECE block. It was a day to remember and certainly
it ll lie in our indelible memory.
Pretty unusual experience for all of us who were present on that day. The day belonged to Jeevitha. We wish her a great future ahead. May be its true that she has not come across the word 'obstacle' in her dictionary. She deserved it.
That is all for now. There are lots more coming up in our ECE calendar including the SAECE inaugural function and the most awaited intra-college technical symposium 'COMNET-2011' which is likely to be held in the month of august. Till then stay connected with our 'elite_ece_today!' Good day friends!
